Association Welcome Statement:
We would like to thank everyone who has visited the Association’s website. This website is our 24th committees’ monitored trial and we hope that by using this web page, we can connect with all Taiwanese people in Australia. This will allow them to join in using this medium to assist in promoting Taiwanese businesses in Australia and business owners will sponsor the Association in return.
The Association started in 1988 in Brisbane to serve people in the community. These services are aimed towards Taiwanese exchange students and include the settlement of disputes, English, the opening of an IT training facility, hosting several activities and integration into Australian society. We aim to allow the Taiwanese community to participate in discussions and assist in developing the government’s public policies, allowing Taiwanese people to improve their standing with the Australian people.
Even though our staff and resources are nothing like our initial English department, IT department and so on, we still hope people will take advantage of the business promotion offered and that people will support the Association in its efforts. Like the 9th President of the Association said: “My fellow individuals, the association will not hesitate to help you grow and thrive. We welcome your valuable input. While we will not say we will definitely achieve your expectations, our team will at least be able to heed your input. Only when the Association does at least this much can they truly say that they serve the people.”
Committee Meeting Times
The committees in the Association will have meetings on a monthly basis and are held on the first Friday of every month. This year’s meeting dates:
3rd of March, 7th of April, 5th of May, 2nd of June, 7th of July, 4th of August, 1st of November, 6th of October, 3rd of November, 1st of December.

宗旨
同鄉會歡迎詞:
非常感謝到訪同鄉會網站的所有訪客，這個網站是我們第二十四屆理監事的全新嘗試，希望藉由這個網頁平台可以得到所有在澳洲的台灣人的認同，進而加入使用我們的平台來做資訊的交流並且達到互助的效果。我們希望利用這個平台可以幫助在澳洲做生意的台灣人來宣傳他們的生意，然後透過平台會員的消費讓生意的經營者來回饋贊助給同鄉會。
同鄉會是一個從1988年就開始在布里斯本服務鄉親的社團，過去的服務項目從處理台灣留學生的打架、鄉親投資糾紛的排解、英文、電腦教學的開辦、各項活動的舉行，到如何融入澳洲主流社會。我們以台灣社團能參與討論和制訂政府各項公共政策為設定目標，讓台灣人站起來和如何增進鄉親的圓融團結。
雖然我們現在的人力物力已經無法像當初為第一代僑民開英文班、電腦班等等課程，但是希望藉由替鄉親排紛解擾開始實質的服務鄉親，讓鄉親再次的認同這個社團而支持我們，之後的目標會繼續朝著將過往的會務一點一滴的復辦。就像在第九期會刊中柯文耀會長所說：“鄉親們，同鄉會只有在您的不吝指導下，才能繼續成長茁壯。我們歡迎您提供寶貴的意見，我們不敢說一定能完全達成您的期待，但至少我們理監事團隊一定會認真地處理您的意見。同鄉會只有在雙向努力下，才能真正地為鄉親服務”。
理監事會議時間：
同鄉會的理監事會議為月例會，定期於每個月的第一個星期五晚上召開。
今年的日期分別如下：
3月3號、4月7號、5月5號、6月2號、7月7號、8月4號、9月1號、10月6號、11月3號、12月1號。
